Catalytic converter is a part of an exhaust system responsible for reducing the emission of toxic gases into the atmosphere. The extremely dangerous compounds include hydrocarbons, carbon monoxide and nitrogen oxides. They are harmful to human health and have a negative impact on the natural environment. A typical catalytic converter looks like a muffler attached to the exhaust pipe. It uses a catalyst, typically palladium or platinum, distributed onto the ceramic honeycomb or ceramic beads, to convert the toxic substances into less dangerous ones - carbon dioxide, water, nitrogen and oxygen. We supply our clients with solid and professional exhaust system components including a diesel catalytic converter, typically combined with a diesel particulate filter.
